Sept 1: ICA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Association of Public and Land Grant Colleges (APLU) in the US and the Canadian Faculties of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (CFAVM) to facilitate our ongoing collaboration

July 13: View the presentations of the ICA-ECHAE Conference Bologna Declaration 10 years on – Promising and delivering quality in Life Science education across Europe

July 1: ICA Secretariat is from today located at the office of Philippe CHOQUET the President of ICA and Directeur Général de l’Institut Polytechnique LaSalle Beauvais, and Marie DUBRUQUE takes over from Ida KROGAGER as ICA Secretary.

June 16: At the ICA General Assembly held on June 16 2010 at the University of Zagreb the following were elected as new ICA Board members:
Lena ANDERSSON-EKLUND, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Sweden
Martin GERZABEK, Rector, University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences (BOKU), Austria
Guido VAN HUYLENBROECK, Dean Faculty of Bioscience Engineering, Ghent University, Belgium
Mika REKOLA, ICA Treasurer and Department of Forest Sciences, University of Helsinki, Finland.

May 21: ICA Regional Network for Central and South Eastern Europe (CASEE), was established as a Standing Committee within ICA at the inaugral CASEE General Assembly held on 21 May 2010 at BOKU Vienna. The President is Professor Martin Gerzabek, Rector of BOKU.  There are 30 founding member universities of CASEE.

Upcoming Events

CEDIA Conference  - NOTE date change

The conference will aim at updating members with respect to the debate on the revision of CAP.   The implication of proposed policy changes for the profesison of European Agronomists and the training of graduates will be discussed.  . Thursday 30th September and Friday 1st October 2010, Leuven Institute for Ireland, Leuven, Belgium 

CASEE Conference 2011
